A postdoctoral position will be available beginning of fall 2002 at INRIA (the French National Research Institute for Computer Science) in Paris or Nancy for a period of 10 months.
The candidate will work on the design and test of formalisms for representation of biological pathways, within the context of a collaborative project between INRIA, the Pasteur Institute, the University of Paris VII and Hybrigenics, called "Process Calculi and Biological Pathways".
Applicants should have a background in either biology or computer science (an inclination towards theory may be a plus) as well as experience in computational biology.
