Constructing gene networks:
observation, analysis and control

January 15, 2009
Paris, France

Presentation

The recent joint development of synthetic biology and systems biology brings new opportunities and raises new problems. An efficient collaboration between biologists and mathematicians/computer scientists/physicists will be essential for the development of these domains in France.
The objective of this meeting is to strengthen the links between the communities of dynamical modelling and simulation of biological systems and synthetic biology.
More precisely, this meeting will focus on methodological aspects, both experimental (new observation techniques) and computational (novel methods for analysis and control). A special attention will be devoted to interdisciplinarity.
